On leaving the Hartwall Areena we sneaked into Terry Wogan's commentary box to finish off his Baileys and plan our entrance to the Aftershow Party! 'Tunnels under the Areena?' or 'climbing down from the roof?' All seemed an option to dodge the Finnish security guards. Finally, as Freddie Kempe might say, we opted for the main door armed with our ticket. Fearful that this could be as reckless as crossing a 'Finnish empty road with the red man displaying himself' began to hit home, but with no time for rehearsals we ceased our moment! Armed with our one ticket, we headed straight for Hanna Pakarinen who no doubt wanted us to leave her alone.

Would we finally get to interview Scooch? Mirroring an Abba the Movie moment, would we ever get to complete our interview? We danced to DQ with three quarters of Scooch, Shameless-ly, as the Pet Shop Boys would say, ceasing our photograph moment!
The truth that One of us, as Agnetha would say, had been Scooching with Caroline before the Eurovision Final, became clear as the conversation flowed on first name terms, would flags be flying furiously at the party?
Would we have to admit our Waterloo? Well there was always a possible rendez-vous at Helsinki Airport for the interview to take off...
