Yesterday, SVT announced the locations for Melodifestivalen 2008! With the Globen booked for the finalen on March 15th, that leaves... 185 days!
In the meantime, there's time for speculation, rumour and gossip, as to who'll perform on the melodi stage?
Our Christer Ball is in need of an upgrade, its frosty shine is making predictions difficult. So instead we'll make up some rumours, hopes and dreams. As Sanna, doesn't do odd years, and with fears about Shirley Clamp, we're saying it's gotta be Lotta Engberg!
We've already suggested the new look Alcazar might be in with a chance or at least an andra chansen. Although Linda Bengtzing might already have bought some furry boots and booked a cheap advance return ticket to Kiruna - now she's found out where it is!
We're wondering about Molly?
Molly Sandén could be the next Sanna, who could be the next Carola. She is still only 15, but a quiet word with Svante to confirm it is OK to be 16 during the year of the contest rather than before the date of the contest, would allow 2008 to become Molly's festivalen!
This clip, is unique showing schlager drottnings going back to become backing singers!
Lotta, Linda (who only did it to pay for the earrings!) and the artist formerly known as Charlotte Nilsson supported Molly recently on Swedish television, when she sang her Junior Eurovision Song Contest Entry - Det finaste någon kan få
According to the records, Molly came 3rd in Romania in JESC 2006. She comes from a musical family as her sister Frida is jetting to Rotterdam to represent Sweden in Junior Eurovision this December.
Molly recently recorded Du är musiken i mig with Ola Svensson which is the svenska version of Your are the music in me from the Disney movie - High School Musical 2.
Ola could also be a Melodifestivalen candidate, in a Sebastian or Måns type way?
Although has he peaked too soon? As his new album Good enough is due out on October 3rd, rather than March 3rd.
We wait and see if our Christer Balls are correct, but if it is not next year, we reckon it'll be Molly-di-festivalen one day!

It would indeed be great to see Molly in Melodifestivalen, but I'm starting to worry that Molly's mum is running some sort of pregnancy-based stage school.
She's running a halfway decent one, then. The Ola/Molly duet is really quite decent (and she can sing rings around Vanessa Hudgens), and has anyone heard the really-quite-pretty version of Det Vackraste that her sister Mimmi did on their version of So-and-so's Got Talent?
