"As good as new!" Alcazar for Melodifestivalen 2008?

Alcastars, Magnus Carlsson and Annikafiore Kjærgaard might be singing....

I'll never know,
Why I had to go?
Why I had to put up such a lousy rotten show?
Boy, I was tough, packin' all my stuff!
Sayin' I don't need you anymore,
I've had enough!
And now, look at me standing here again 'cause I found out that...
Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma Melodifestivalen is here!
Gotta have you near...

With the 'As good as new - look Alcazar' now featuring Lena Hedlund, together with Tess Merkel and Andreas Lundstedt. Surely, Christer Björkman and Co. have one Wild Card Entry sorted?

This performance brings together fabulous:
Head Turns,
Strutting,
Elegance and Orchestration,
Hand Claps and
Sequenced arm pointing up to the sky on the last four notes for the big ending after the key change!

The original As good as new features on 'Voulez Vous' by ABBA.

Text och Musik: Benny Andersson och Björn Ulvaeus.

It remains to be seen if Alcazar will represent Sweden in Eurovision for 2008. At least BWO will be singing Lay Your Love On Me in Melodifestivalen 2008 - Text och musik: Alexander Bard, Anders Hansson, Bobby Ljunggren och Henrik Wikström!

Not to be confused by ABBA's Lay all your love on me - Sir Cliff version!

Oh Cliff! What nifty footwork, it's 1973 again! We hope you gave Björn a ring ring as dabbing with his lyric could see you in court!

Original: "Now every woman I see is a potential threat."
Cliff: "Now every stranger I meet is a potential threat."

Original: "You've heard me saying that smoking was my only vice."
Cliff: "You've heard me saying that tennis was my only vice!"

And what happened to verse three?
"I've had a few little love affairs,
They didn't last very long and they've been pretty scarce...."

Still, least he had a key change and an ending, even electric guitars in the instrumental break!

Notice, Sir Cliff did the gender lyric swap, where as Alcazar would've stuck with the original, see Magnus singing Under Attack, and in the:

"I feel a kind of fear,
When I don't have you near,
Unsatisfied, I skip my pride,
I beg you dear."

We'd suggest: "I'm feeling kinda queer..." which for a while we thought was the lyric!

This post should've probably ended here! But, a bit like Sir Cliff's career, goes On and on and on...

So will Cliff Richard's Christmas album go head to head with Carola's?

What a shocka, the Melodimen have just smurfed for news about Sir Cliff's Christmas offering 2007 and we've find out he's releasing a Love Album (surely this should've been saved for February?) His new single When I need you is out on October 29th! New single? But it's not Christmas yet?

Get out the Mistletoe and wine to celebrate!

Sir Cliff has the tennis balls to cover Deuce's I Need you!

Sod the "When" Go for it Cliff! You might get your first number one hit of the naughties!

And while you're at it, why not go for a double A side with Alcazar's - Not a sinner nor a saint!

This won't have effect in fact, that's exactly what I believe.
